I have a Bachelor's in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Interior Design from Ball State University, and continued my education through graduate coursework at Indiana University's Fiber Arts Department.
I have worked in a variety of different fields: as an interior designer, a landscaper, as a manager in retail, and in hospitality. Throughout each of these experiences, I have kept design at the heart of my work. Most recently I have worked in art galleries in Bloomington to coordinate with exhibiting artists to display their work in the best light possible.
The techniques I use in my work span multiple types and styles of fiber art from feltwork, to needlecraft, weaving, and quilting. The consistent technique that is woven throughout my work is stitching through expressionistic embroidery.
